This fee includes the administration, arrangement, registration of death, basic mortuary preparation and dressing (excludes embalming), record of attendance, viewing if required during business hours, and transfer within 50 klms from F.W. Barnes & Son during business hours. Catering Options

F.W. Barnes & Son offers catering for after-service receptions for up to 100 people. We can organise catering for gatherings greater than 100 at other venues.

Room Hire Fee Up to 100 people at F.W. Barnes’ Reception Room $100 for 2 hours
Cold Menu Tea, Coffee, Cordial, Mixed Sandwiches and Mixed Slices $16.50 per person
Hot & Cold Menu Tea, Coffee, Cordial, Hot Savouries, Party Pies, Sausage Rolls, Mixed Sandwiches & Mixed Slices $19.50 per person

 

Weekend Funerals and Public Holiday Funerals

Saturday Funeral Services incur an additional fee of $1,050.00 for the first 4 hours and $125.00 per hour thereafter.

Sunday / Public Holiday Funeral Services incur an additional fee of $1320.00 for the first 4 hours and $175.00 per hours thereafter.

 

After Hours Transfers and Milage

Transfers outside of normal business0 hours (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm) will incur a transfer fee of $715.00, plus a $3.50 per/klm charge if transfer is more than 50klms from F.W. Barnes & Son.

 

Printing

F.W. Barnes & Son can produce funeral-specific printed material, personalised to your wishes.

  • A5 4-page Order of Service Booklet (minimum order 50 units) – $4.00 per booklet
  • 2-sided Postcard – $3.50 Postcard
  • 2-sided Bookmark – $3.50 Bookmark

*please note that the costs of each copy will be reduced when ordering quantities over 50 units

 

Digital, AV and Livestreaming

Photo Presentation – Scanning, cropping and production of a photo presentation with up to 40 photos and one song $295.00

Photo Presentation – Scanning, cropping and production of a photo presentation with more than 40 photos and 2-3 songs $350.00
