A special family friend who shared family activities with our 4 girls along with Mr and Mrs “P” (our girls surrogate grandparents) over many years.
Nancy had so many talents and was an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

A special lady who inspired so many with her determination and courage in the face of adversity.
Nancy’s interests were diverse from farming to family history, cross stitch to cooking, plants to pets and so much more.
Nancy will be missed by many family and friends.

Nancy and I were distantly related through our Cornish ancestors, the Harpurs of Gwennap, Truro. We met once when she came to the UK about thirty years ago and had a tour around West Cornwall where she had connections. She was very generous with family information and photographs and sent me a copy of her History of the Postlethwaite Family. We corresponded by email for several years and it was by chance I saw the notice of her death. I would be very pleased to hear from any family members who have Cornish connections.
