Dear Mason family, when I see Alan in front of me with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen, I automatically hear the question: “Should we put the kettle on?”. So many cups of tea, sandwiches, Alan lasagnes and long video nights in Edithvale made my time in Melbourne with you so special and you became a kind of second family to me. And the trips in his old car with billiard ball gearshift are legendary!! 😎 The visits from Marie and Alan here in Germany were wonderful times with special people that I keep deep in my heart. Alan will always be unforgettable! 😍 All my love to you! XXXOOO Yours Franca &Family 🧡
To Marie, Gilda and Dallas,
My deepest condolences for the passing of Alan Mason. I have known Alan for a long time since our first meeting in Red Cliffs and in Melbourne at Frater Street, East Kew. He was a good friend, kind and gentle person.
I am so sorry we have lost contact after Geraldine and I moved to Canberra and now in New Zealand.
May you rest in peace in our Loving God.
Michael & Geraldine Dai

I remember Alan as a kind generous man and I felt the warmth of the Mason’s family welcome when I arrived in Melbourne. It made a big difference.
Sending much love
