  1. It’s with great sadness that we hear of Ian’s passing. We have treasured memories of meeting Ian, Julie, and his family when we visited Australia. With a good heart who cared so much about his friends, family, and the community in which he lived. What a fantastic legacy he leaves behind.

Thank you for living a great and fulfilled life. It was our honour to have met you.

  7. My sympathies to Julie and family. Ian was a valuable member of the Camping Association of Victoria and assisted in laying foundation stones for the development of the industry. Cave Hill Creek is testament to his passion and vision shared in committee meetings.

  8. Dear John, Julie, Hilary and families,

We are so sorry to hear of Ian’s passing only today. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of you.

Ian was a long-time friend of my Uncles (Wilson and Ephrem) and my parents (Joanna and Les). Uncle Wilson always spoke so fondly of him, your parents and all of you.

Watching the service, it was evident that he was a very hard worker and a great family and community man. We are sure his family will continue his legacy.

We will always remember the time we spent with Ian and Julie on our cruise to Alaska. We hope you will all remember the happy times too.
