  8. I didn’t know John personally, but I know how much Elsa loved and devoted to him. I met John once when I visited Hong Kong in 2021. He spoke so softly and smiling all the time though he did not know what we were saying. He will always be the most kind and gentle man in my memories. His smiles that i will never forget.

With deepest condolences to you and your family

  10. I met John when he was with Austrade, stationed in Ballarat region. He always turned up to AusIndustry regional seminar with his mate Neil Hamilton, while John helped to organise the venue in Ballarat. I can not forget the three of us having a nice pub meal afterward. John eventually joined AusIndustry as regional manager caring for clients in the Ballarat/Bendigo region.

Our friendship spill over AusIndustry office. Self and my wife Isabella visited John and Elsa at their Hong Kong based home in Tai Po HK. John treated our Hong Kong friends to a typical Oz BBQ, washed down with Red and White wine. Of course he showed off his handyman skills, pointing to his pride creations, kitchen tables and chairs. Quietly John told us he nearly set up a riot, when Hong Kongers saw an Westerner collecting roadside throw-away furnitures, being his source of treasured material.
We went yum cha in Hong Kong and at Sharkfin Inn in Melbourne. But your dietary requirement narrowed the range of food your body can take. We were glad we managed to catch up at a meal in Caroline Spring last April after we heard the sad news. John now you are free of any ailments and can any type of food to your content. We treasure the good memory with you. They stay in our hearts forever. Bye John.
