Kev, my best mate. I am really going to miss our telephone conversations. It still seems so surreal. I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet. I keep thinking, I’ll just give Kev a ring, see how he’s getting on. But ……. I’m just so sad, but knowing that you’re no longer in pain does help. But I still miss you so dam much!

Kev, you will always be in our hearts, remembering all the good you’ve achieved. For all us brothers and our sister Dawn, you were our rock. You were always there in good times and the sad. Always there to listen, support and encourage. Always lending a hand where you could.

You once told me you where envious of my life and travels. But, truth be known, I was envious of your stableness and really admired your ability to be there for every one of us. Your kind and caring nature has left a lasting legacy for all of us to remember and follow. You will be sadly missed and remembered as our rock.

What a lovely man Kevin was. Sad to hear of his illness and subsequent passing. Kevin and I walked and talked together in the rehab pool at Ballarat Aquatic Centre early in the mornings. He loved his family and was very proud of them. He happily shared his knowledge and love of gardening and was always upbeat and cheerful. Thank you Kevin. Kevin had a special group of friends at the Ballarat aquatic centre and he will be missed by them all. His smile, his laugh, his red shorts! And his hearty “hooray!”
