Did you ever know that you’re my hero
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings.
Love you mum, forever.
You stayed with us as long as you could,
but we knew you had to leave,
although we wanted you to stay always,
We will always love you,
You are forever in our hearts,
and forever in our thoughts.
May angels embrace you.
Thankyou for your support,
comfort, guidance and love.
Thankyou for being our mum.
A face we love is missing,
A voice we love is still,
A place is vacant in our hearts,
that no-one else can fill,
No matter how our life may change,
Where ever we are, what ever we do
We will always cherish
the precious years we had with you.
Julie, Ian and all of our families.

Daphne, you were such a sweet, caring and loving soul. Your sense of fashion always amazed me as a kid, I always loved what you were wearing, so colourful just like the person you were.
Dad (Adrian Hartland) remembers you always helping him as a kid and being so kind always. He helped move you a few times in his van to your new units later on in in life and has great memories of the talks he had with you.
RIP dear Daphne, you will be missed love Nadine, Adrian and the Hartland family.
As long as we live, Mum too will live; for she was always part of us; her life a part of who we are and have become; she will live on in our actions and memories. May her memory be for a Blessing.
Aunt Daphne, I hardly knew you, my memories are vague, due to being so young, I’ve had brief encounters and memories, so sorry that as a Auntie we could not spend more time with you, to understand or appreciate the Auntie you were, you have obviously been a wonderful mother to Beverley, grand mother and to all your other children, just so sad 😞
