  1. He is one of the most genuine, practical, and positive people I have ever met. It was a pleasure to have met him. Gone, but definitely not forgotten.

  3. Great man to work with; diligent, prepared to experiment and loved challenges.
I have lost a work colleague & great friend.
While he worked at Sacred Heart as an IT tech, he had the school humming with its computers and all the staff very content with the expertise Paul showed.
The world’s a sadder place with him gone.
Feel for you Susan- all the best at this time.

  4. Our deepest condolences to Paul’s wife, and all family members. Paul helped me so many times with IT problems, it was never any trouble for him to come to my home and sort it out. I know Paul had been battling cancer for quite some time, he put up a good fight. So sorry that he is now gone, but resting in peace, hopefully with his beautiful mother Louise. Rest easy Paul, your work is done.

  6. Heartfelt commiserations at this wonderful person’s passing…Paul will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate are to have known him or had him in their lives. Paul and Susan were soulmates and enriched each other’s lives. Paul was a prince among men, intelligent, caring and thoughtful towards others. We have gained immeasurably from his actions, ideas and compassion. Never to be forgotten.

  7. Dear dear Paul
It was a privilege to speak with you and express my gratitude for your loving presence in my dear dear friend Susan’s life and heart.
Though we never did meet in person, through Susan’s unbounded love and admiration and appreciation for you as a man, I feel I know you.
It is my belief that the stature and worth of a human is what they bring to others. You were so loved and supported by your community through the difficult path your illness took you on – this speaks volumes to what a good person you were.
Thank you again for letting my dear friend know what true love and being honoured feels like.
    Rest gently dear Paul

  8. Dear Patrick and Mary
I know through your mum that Paul brought only good things into your young lives.
This is truly special in a stepdad – it says so much about the person Paul was, and you too.
I am sure you are all gently wrapping your loving arms around each other, and especially your beautiful mum Susan, in this very difficult, sad time.
    Much love, Dassana

  11. Paul was a loved and loving member of our family. Born to Karl (dec) and Luise (dec) Wagner at the Nan Org Bush Nursing Hospital, Croydon on 11th Oct 1962. The youngest of 8 children: Irene, Helmut (dec), Anna (dec), Heinz, Erich, Wolfie and twin Marg. There are so many stories and memories I could share of a happy life growing up on the farm. I still bear the scar from our play farming fun….playing Lego, kick the tin, croquet (Wagner family rules), and more. There were many family celebrations….noisy and fun. Happy days.
Paul told me he would be reunited with Pop, mum, Helmut and Anna….I hope they are together again 5 Wagners in heaven and 5 on Earth.
Paul will be missed by his remaining siblings and extended family including in-laws Rob, Jacki, Natasha and Kerrie, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and their crews.
    Lovingly from Marg xox

  12. Paul, 30+ years of knowing you. I remember your 30th birthday party at Rooster by the Bay in Port Melbourne. Fun times. Hot Christmases with my family in the Mallee and almost getting blown away in the caravan when a storm passed through. I remember your lovely mum’s German Christmas biscuits. Delicious. I enjoyed the times in Cobden and we’d all play board games and sit around the fire in the backyard. You loved the Hawthorn Football Club and The Skyhooks (Livin’ in the 70s). Our lives drifted apart, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. I was shocked to hear of your deteriorating health. Thanks for being a great brother in law and Uncle to Huw. Kate, Rob, Huw and Tazzie the cat.
