Went to Glory on the 6th of April 2019, aged 76.
Peacefully, at Gandarra, in the presence of his family.
Dearly loved husband of Patricia, loved father of Jonathan and Claire, father in law of Clare and Daniel. Adored Oompa to all his grandchildren.

My husband and I met Richard only once, and quite briefly, yet during our short time together in the airport lounge in New Zealand, we felt an aura about him that showed us both that Richard was a man of God, someone of great faith.
Richard was such a wonderful teacher of God’s word, he encouraged my husband And I in our Christian walk and we were blessed to have known him and called him friend. Well done good and faithful servant, at rest with your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
